It provides Digital diagnostics functions via a 2-wire serial interface as specified in SFF-8472. It adopts high-performance DFB transmitter and high-sensitivity PIN receiver, provides up to 13dB link budge for SONET OC-48 / SDH STM -16 applications up to 20km on a single core single mode fiber.
